Meet Us

Welcome to Leona's Happy Place!!

As the name suggests, this is a fun site with lots of things to make you smile.

Here are pictures of my latest puppy. We call him busy boy because he is always wanting to play.

He has golden fur with a blue undercoat, which makes a lovely contrast with the white splashes.

Here he is with his twin sister. She is extremely tiny, but you can see that he also has a small bone structure, even though he is quite muscular for his size.

Although his short legs mean he can't jump onto our loveseat, he does manage to scramble up on his own. He socializes well, and adores playing with our cat.

Story time has some stories suitable to read out loud to very young children. or for somewhat older children to read.  They will even be enjoyed by those of us who still have our child twinkling in us, even though our body says we are older.

Brain Candy is my newsletter, designed to make you smile. It had jokes and brain teasers and riddles and limericks and so much more.  The past issues are stored here.

Fun pages have great graphics.  Some are funny, some make you think, and some are useful.  I am still adding to these.  I hope you find a few you like, and forward the link to your friends.

Killer is my darling Chihuahua.  Like any other pet owner, I am crazy about her, and I love showing her off.

Bible Insights is Bible studies I have written.  I love to write custom Bible studies for women's retreats or classes.  I used to teach them before I became disabled with Chronic Fatigue.  I would enjoy writing custom Bible studies, though I have to charge. A site like this costs me a lot.  I enjoy providing it free, but will eventually have to advertise or charge something somewhere.

Learning aids were developed to help students memorize facts for tests.  More is available, and I can do custom work in that area also.

Meet us introduces me, with a bit on my husband.  It also introduces some of the struggles I've had with overweight, and what I have learned.
